LETTER FOR THE GOVERNOR
I would like to thank the members that continuously and boundlessly helped our Lodge with its projects.

We have been blessed that we have members that have the experience and dedication to get any job done no matter the insurmountable challenges.

Also, I would like to thank and recognize our co-workers. They have many projects of their own but always have the time and energy to assist and contribute to ours. Working together to benefit our Lodge, the members and co-workers have accomplished much this past year.

The Lodge is getting an enthusiastic, dedicated hard worker, Robbie Bowen, as the in-coming Governor. Let’s help our new Governor, keep our Lodge growing and thriving.

SICKNESS AND DISTRESS
Robert Howard is going to another eye specialist and is hoping for better results. Mike Jones had shoulder surgery. It went well and he is now back to work. Steve Milne had carpel tunnel surgery and is recovering fine. Robbie Harrison was in a motorcycle accident in Daytona. Robbie Bowen’s sister-in-law who has cancer is now doing chemo. Ivan Harris’ sister has her good and bad days. Jack Dawson has cancer of the leg.

The following members have passed away: Earl Williams and J.L. Petty. Our condolences go out to their families.

WINNERS AND LOSERS
50/50 winner at the Lodge meetings, which are every Monday at 8pm, were: Alan Wooten, Robbie Bowen, Ricky Blake, Robert Howard, Terry Robertson, Ivan Harris, Bill
Burrows and Pete Pipkin. The attendance drawing is now up to $55. Had any of the following members been at the meeting when their name was drawn, they would have won. They were: Kevin Neibauer, Lenny Gagliardi, Creighton James, Arthur Diehl, Gary Arnold, Chris Carmichael, Robert Frede and Preston Knox. LOCKER RENTAL
If you have a locker, the rent for this year is due May 1st. The cost is $12 a year.
Please see the administrator to pay for this year’s rent.

The Lodge is in the process of sending the Newsletter by e-mail. We do not have an e-mail address for all members. If you have e-mail and would like to receive the Newsletter that way, please send your e-mail address to lodge885@embarqmail.com and you will be places on the distribution list. LETTER FROM SENIOR REGENT

Oh my God, can you believe another year has passed?

Every April, our chapter installs a new Senior Regent and she begins her term with high hopes of achieving the goals set forth by International and of being the leader that the WOTM Chapter 2362 deserves. So it was with me and all those that went before me and I'm sure, those to follow.

Our Chapter is young and has taken baby steps, falling but getting up, shaking it off and going forth with resolve.

The ladies that constitute our Chapter have diverse thoughts, opinions and views. We have argued, cried and laughed together. We are co-workers in a Chapter that we can be proud of and have made friends that we otherwise would never have known.

This past year has not been without its challenges. We persevered due to our determination not to let differences in attitudes, wounded feelings and misunderstood remarks, stop us from succeeding. Yes there has been “drama” but what a boring world this would be if we all agreed on everything. Life is full of drama and our Chapter is full of life and what a brilliant learning experience life is.

We can be extremely pleased with our many accomplishments this past year. Our hard work and commitment shown by our persistent co-workers has benefited our Chapter,
our Lodge, our community, Mooseheart, Moosehaven and many other charities. I offer my sincere gratitude to all of you.

I would like to thank our Junior Graduate Regent, Linda Garrett, Recorder Irene Berardi, Junior Regent Mary Ellen Burney, Secretary/Treasurer Karen Thompson, Chaplin, Patsy
Harrington and all the co-workers of our chapter for contributing their time, energy and talents so unselfishly.

The Chapter made a wise chose in their new Senior Regent and Officers. I am sure they will work tirelessly to ensure that the obligations and commitments of our Chapter and Lodge are met.

I also would like to send out a personal thank you to Lynn Robertson. You were always encouraging, inspiring and there for me. I truly appreciate your friendship and support.

Each $1,000 check will be mailed directly to the college of their choice.
There is no better way to help the youth of the Fraternity than to offer them the opportunity to further their education, and that is exactly what the R. Robert
Dale Scholarship is all about.
The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the R. Robert Dale Scholarship.
The applicant must:
Be a student in the high school graduating Class of 2012
Have a father, mother, step-parent, grandparent or legal guardian who is a paid up member of the Moose (Applicant is NOT required to reside in the same household)
Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (C+) or higher on a 4.0 scale Send the completed application by deadline (application must be completed in its
entirety to be valid)

It has been an honor to be your Governor for the past two years. You have elected an incoming Governor, Robbie Bowen, who has all the qualifications to be a tremendous asset to our Lodge. Let’s help him and at the same time help our Lodge.


I want to welcome all the incoming officers and thank those that are outgoing for their time and efforts.
We will be receiving the Premier Lodge Award again this year. We can all be proud of this achievement and our outstanding Administrator, Jim Berardi.

I also want to thank Ivan Harris. His support has been invaluable. Ivan has helped me every step of the way, since my joining the Moose Lodge.
